Store Your Memories with Greater Capacity – 1 Hour Recording & Storage on an 8cm Blu-ray Disc, with the Capacity of Five 8cm DVDs |
Just one 8cm (7.5GB) Blu-ray Disc has the capacity of five 8cm DVDs (1.4GB), allowing you to record and store up to an hour of Full HD video on a single disc. This gives you a huge advantage while recording and also saves you the trouble of having to switch discs as often while playing back your movies. You're always ready when the action stretches on for a little longer. It's just one of the ways Blu-ray can enhance your enjoyment of life’s memories.
Save Your Memories on the Next Generation of Media |
There's no better way to archive and preserve your irreplaceable videos than on the next standard for digital media storage: the Blu-ray Disc. With five times the capacity of DVDs and a maximum 3x high-speed transfer rate, Blu-ray Disc has earned the support of over 170 companies worldwide. This revolutionary format is also compatible with an expanding line of players, recorders, and PCs, and is set to become the first choice for HD video enjoyment.

High Definition Lens |
12 element in 9-group, 18-sided multicoat lens has been developed especially for the Hitachi Blu-ray Disc camcorder. This lens achieves superb image quality by reducing ghosting and flaring, while its size is kept to a minimum by its highly refractive glass.

[Images have been enhanced to show the effect.]
HDMI and USB Connectivity |
Both of our Blu-ray Disc camcorders feature HDMI and USB ports. Using the HDMI cable, connect the camera to a compatible TV to play the Full HD movies you've taken on a large screen. Using the USB port enables easy communication with your computer.

[The HDMI cable is sold separately. Your TV must have an HDMI terminal. Not all TVs are capable of displaying Full HD.]
